Serbian Black/Death metal hoard, BANE has posted “The True Insomnia,” from their forthcoming full-length debut Chaos, Darkness, Emptiness. Recorded Hellsound Studio in The Czech Republic, Chaos, Darkness, Emptiness was produced, mixed and mastered by Honza Kapak (Judas Iscariot, Krieg, Nargaroth, et al).

The album, which boasts guest appearances from Jb of Svart Crown, Deimoz of The Revenge Project and Nocturnal of Shadowdream, will be released later this year on Digi-CD, CD and MC format via Abyss Records and features cover artwork by Marcelo Vasco (Belphegor, Obituary, Vader, Borknagar, Gorgoroth, Satyricon).

Chaos, Darkness, Emptiness shall contain nine track and will be divided equally into three chapters:

Chapter I – Chaos
Chapter II – Darkness
Chapter III – Emptiness

“BANE is a Black/Death Metal band from Serbia, who is mainly under the influence of Old School Swedish Styled Black/Death Metal from the mid 90`s. Their music can be easily compared to the early Dissection and Dark Funeral.

Formed in Novi Sad, Serbia in 2006, the band had constant technical and line-up problems, resulting to a 2-year long break after the first recorded Demo in 2007.

Finally, in late 2009, after several line-up changes once again, the band recorded their first EP called Misanthropia and released it on early 2010 on Dutch Label Victory By Fire Records, and shortly after re-released it on Set Productions (Egypt).

Since then the band is very active live in the European Underground scene, so far having shared stages with many international acts such as: Root (CZ), Depresy (SK), Enthrallment (BUL), James Rivera (USA), Septic Scum (SLO), Infest (SER), and many more…”

This October, BANE will set out on a European tour in support of Chaos, Darkness, Emptiness. The tour dates are as follows:

On Monday, TRAP THEM will convene in Salem, Mass. at Godcity Studio with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Disfear, Black Breath) to commence recording their Prosthetic Records debut (and third full-length album overall).

This will be their first full-length to feature drummer Chris Maggio, formerly of Coliseum. The band has also launched a new blog where they will be documenting the recording process and, ultimately, the touring cycle around this as-yet-untitled album. In a recent interview with Jay Nanda of the San Antonio Examiner, EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt discussed being in EXODUS for 28 years, the band’s 1989 cover version of War’s “Lowrider” on the Fabulous Disaster album, and an idea for a questionably profitable souvenir from the band’s upcoming participation on 70000TONS OF METAL.

Singapore grindcore trio WORMROT have regretfully had to delay the start of their US tour by a few days.

The band, which was due to perform with labelmates ORDER OF ENNEAD at Santos Party House in New York City tonight (September 2nd), have been forced to postpone the start of the tour due to visa delays.

WORMROT will now be arriving in the USA on September 4th and will be kicking off the tour on September 6th in Cleveland, Ohio.  The band apologises to their fans, but will be rescheduling the New York show for a new date towards the end of the tour.

WORMROT frontman ARIF ROT comments:

“I’m off to the airport this Friday night to catch our early as fuck flight to the States the next day.  Everything has been prepared and we are pumped as fuck to start abusing the USA.  LET’S FUCKING GO!”
