Pick up those Flying V’s and drum sticks and pop in that Hatebreed CD!  According to an article at the National Health and Wellness Centers Facebook page, there are studies which indicate that picking up a musical instrument provides a way to boost both physical and mental health.  There are also studies that indicate that music may lower people’s blood pressure and improve their “feeling of well-being.” Imagine that.  Head over the the National Health and Wellness Center’s Facebook page and check out the full article.
