TORCHE are reporting the shocking news that the majority of their gear and personal items were stolen after their performance in Chicago on May 14. If you can help, go out and support the band, and if you’re feeling extra generous, you can make a donation here.

After our Chicago show at the Congress Theater on May 14 between 1:30AM and 4:00AM our van was broken into while parked in front of Goethe Elementary and a bunch of equipment was stolen. Items taken include music equipment, personal items/luggage, band/personal checkbook, cameras, laptop, and passports.

The following items were taken:

* Custom Electrical Guitar Company bass w/hardcase #220
* First Act custom bass w/hardcase serial number # JN-0901002
* Black Gibson Custom Les Paul w/SKB hardcase
(has chip on the top L side of headstock, visible neck repair on top side of the neck,
may have missing paint opposite vol and tone knobs if sticker was removed).
* Custom woodfinish guitar w/hardcase
* Acoustic 370 Bass Head
* 2 x SKB PS25 pedal boards
* 2 x Boss tuning pedals
* MXR Phase 90
* Boss DD5 pedal
* Boss guitar EQ pedal
* Custom 3 way amp selector (metallic blue)
* Fulltone OCD pedal
* Aguilar Tone Hammer pedal
* Boss Bass EQ pedal

If you know anyone in the Chicago area we’d appreciate any help in spreading the word.

Thanks, Torche

BILLY IDOL will be releasing In Super Overdrive Live, a DVD featuring many of his hits on November 16th.  The show was filmed at the Congress Theater, Chicago for the US TV series Soundstage and originally broadcast in America in July 2009. The tracklist runs from early Generation X favourites, through his classic solo singles and up to tracks from his most recent album The Devil’s Playground.

Tracklisting:

1) Super Overdrive   2) Dancing With Myself   3) Flesh For Fantasy   4) Touch My Love   5) White Wedding   6) Scream   7) Eyes Without A Face   8) Cry   9) Blue Highway 10) Ready Steady Go   11) Rebel Yell   12) Kiss Me Deadly

The Line-Up for this show was: Billy Idol (vocals); Steve Stevens — guitars; Brian Tichy (Slash’s Snakepit) — drums; Stephen McGrath (bass); Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater) — keyboards.
