San Antonio Metal group UPON A BURNING BODY have apparently taken a disliking to Attack Attack!’s upcoming tour theme and wardrobe choice for the promotional photo.
UPON A BURNING BODY is known for their mob like antics, image, and even trouble that they have come across while trying to cross Canadian boarders. Looks like they continue to stir the pot with their obvious display of non-acceptance for Attack Attack!’s new style choice.
Watch the video below to see what UPON A BURNING BODY has to say about the tour admat:

Let the childish antics continue.

Hello Soilworkers,
Blogging is not something I do very often, so bear with me guys!
First of all I would like to extend a huge thanks to all of you guys and gals that have stuck with SOILWORK through thick and thin. It’s great to see the response for the new record, and it’s amazing for us to see that we are getting more and more people coming to the shows than ever before.
I know that SOILWORK has gone through some major changes, but I do feel like this is the best line-up and we’re a solid unit now. We’ re all really enjoying each others company, as well as playing together.
Touring in the US in the summer time has its ups and downs, like playing in hotter than hell venues, and eating garbage late at night (even though it tastes soooo good). But the response has been great, and it has been a real pleasure performing the new songs for everyone.
The Panic Broadcast has been received very well and it’s fun to see that after almost 15 years we’re rocking harder and are making better music than we ever have before.
We knew in the early writing stages that this would be a great record, but we had no idea of how it would be perceived, and at this point in our career we really wanted to make a record where we could “feel” the material. I’m not saying that we didn’t feel our music before, but we really tried to emphasise a more organic feel on this record, so when we tracked the songs it was very important to have everyone perform great takes, instead of recording 2 second bits that I would grid edit in Pro Tools to make it sound tight.
This is the best performed album in SOILWORK history, and its awesome to share the guitar duty with an amazing guitar player like Sylvain Coudret. We basically try and challenge each other all the time, and it is great to have brought back the guitar solo trade-offs that we used to do in the past.
We are all very proud of The Panic Broadcast so for all of you who have not yet heard it, GO GET IT!!!!!!!!!
Hornz Up!
Peter

British thrashers EVILE recently announced their new bassist, Joel Graham, who joins the band following the tragic death of their late bassist, Mike Alexander. Graham previously played in Yorkshire metal band RISE TO ADDICTION, who recorded for Mausoleum Records.
View the first new photo of EVILE featuring the new line-up:

New EVILE bassist Joel Graham comments:
“I’d just like to say how much I’m looking forward to the upcoming tour with the band, and can’t wait to meet all the Evile fans personally. Since the announcement was made about me joining Evile, the words of support have been overwhelming in what is ultimately a very difficult position in the band to fill. All I will say is, I will do my best every night of the tour and contribute what I can to keep this band stronger than ever. See you on tour, and thank you..”
EVILE are set to kick off a headlining European tour next week with their new line-up. The “Infecting Nations” tour will start with a run of shows on the band’s home soil of the UK, before they head off to mainland Europe. Joining EVILE on the tour will be American thrashers WARBRINGER and Israel’s THE FADING.

30 SECONDS TO MARS introduced a new concept of ‘trading faces’ to their Faces of Mars campaign.
Jared Leto and company invited fans to take part in the Faces of Mars campaign and have their photo featured on an personalized album cover. And now that the disc is out, people want the copy featuring their pic.

“We saw someone last night who, someone had found their face in France and mailed it to them and they lived in Chicago. We’ve seen those kind of stories all over the country,” Jared Leto tells Spinner. “There’s a scavenger hunt aspect, a collectors’ aspect to it.”
While Leto says, “We encourage fair trade” to celebrate the “interactivity” of the project, there’s been some big business aspect to it as well. “I heard that one was selling on eBay for $2500 or has already sold, so there’ll always be some of that,” he says. “I think somebody had a face of someone and that person wanted it really bad.”
If you haven’t got the one you want, don’t feel too left out — even the band’s frontman has found them hard to find. “There were two Conan O’Brien covers and Ben Stiller got one of them, Conan got the other,” he says. “I was trying to get a hold of one of the Conan O’Brien’s.”
The experiment has been so successful that the band is hoping to continue it on the next pressing of the album.
