Pulverised Records is pleased to announce its newest signing: Norwegian black metallers DEN SAAKALDTE. Founded by principal songwriter/guitarist Mikael Sykelig (ex-Gorgoroth session guitar player) and featuring some of the scene’s most notorious and prolific musicians, the band released the monumental Øl, Mørke og Depresjon (translation: “Beer, Darkness And Depression”) opus in 2008 and remarkably depressive full-length follow-up All Hail Pessimism in early 2009 before joining forces with the Singapore-based label.
Den Saakaldte’s forthcoming album and first with Pulverised Records, will be entitled Kapittel II: Faen i Helvete, scheduled for release in the Fall of 2010.

The debut album from Swedish death metallers MY OWN GRAVE, entitled Unleash, will be reissued via Pulverised Records (release date TBA). The extended version of Unleash will be bundled with the Progression Through Deterioration 2004 Demo and two extra cover songs (“Orthodox” by Krabathor and “War Ensemble” by Slayer).

The remastering duties were handled by legendary multi-instrumentalist/engineering wizard Dan Swanö (Dissection, Marduk, Opeth, Bloodbath et al). In addition, the artwork and layout for Unleash will be altered and revamped, giving the reissue a brand new lease of life.

Australian black metallers PESTILENTIAL SHADOWS recently inked a worldwide deal with Pulverised Records for their latest opus In Memoriam, Ill Omen.

In Memoriam, Ill Omen is a pummeling onslaught of sorrow-drenched riffs with a sonic production that mirrors the early ’90s black metal sound, courtesy of guitarist/singer Balam. Featuring past and present  members of Naxzul, Rift, Illium, Funeral Moruning and many others. Recorded and mixed by Balam and mastered by D.Backovic. Touted as one of the Swedish metal scene’s most promising new comers, Pulverised Records is pleased to announce the signing of melancholic metallers IN MOURNING for a two-album deal. The band has commenced work on their still-untitled second album and will once again enter Black Lounge Studio (Scar Symmetry, Carnal Forge, Steel Attack etc) with producer/engineer Jonas Kjellgren.

In Mourning’s 2008 debut Shrouded Divine earned critical acclaim worldwide with its heart-wrenching melodic passages entwined with progressive elements and death metal aggression.

Chicago area death/thrash cult legends, MASTER have just been signed to Pulverised Records. Paul Speckmann (bassist/vocalist) and co. are set to commence work on the new material for a full-length album in August and the new album should be completed at the end of 2009. More details and announcements will be made.

Master will kick off their tour on 5th of June 2009 with two shows in Germany before proceeding for a 21-date American tour starting on 8th of July 2009 onwards.
