I started listening to metal in the early / mid '80's ( Def Leppard, Crue, Maiden, Priest, Dio ) and evolved with the music through it's good and bad times. Being in my mid 30's, I still find a great deal of enjoyment in the metal arena even if my musical tastes have broadened through the years. In a normal day, it's not uncommon to hear Opeth, Miles Davis, Nightwish, Cat Stevens, and Corrosion of Conformity on my playlist. I love it all, but my heart is metal. |
