| My Life Story: |
I live in Cobourg, Ontario. I have SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Type Two.
In November of 2005, my lungs collapsed at school and was rushed to Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto. After a long month in the ICU they moved me to my own room, and left in a week. Now I'm feeling just fine.
Though I am handicapped, I go to all the concerts I can. Being the only guy in a wheelchair who is head banging, I am awesome. I did get moshed once or twice but it's all ini good fun.
I've been to two concerts so far, Children of Bodom with Chimaira and Through the Eyes of the Dead and Unholy Alliance 2006.
On April 22nd, me and my girlfriend Ashley went to see the Dimmu Borgir concert. It was my girlfriend's first concert, so she was a bit nervous. Once we got to the venue, the security guards bumped us to the front of the line waiting to get into the concert. After five or ten minutes they moved us inside so we didn't get trampled. As we were inside we could see some of the band members from Kataklysm and Unearth preparing for the show. As always us crippleds get the concerts good, and I was front row right beside the speaker. Kataklysm put on a good show. Devil Driver also put on a good show and also got the security guards to give me a pick. Unearth was incredible, one of the guitarists walked around to venue and actually still played his guitar. After Unearth was done, a security guard came up to me and handed me a broken drum stick obviously used in the show. When Dimmu Borgir came on it was a blast, they started the show with my personal favourite Progenies of the Great Apocalypse. I swear it, but I think Galder and Vortex kept looking at me through the whole concert. After the concert and of course the encore the security guards yet again came up to me and gave me the set list for Dimmu Borgir's show. This was definately the best show I've ever been to. |
