| My Life Story: |
Well I know I grew up listening to all types of music. My father was an avid record/albums collector. I can remember looking at many album covers and throwing the lp's on the record player and just listneing to them over and over. For some reason my favorite album covers were of all of Led Zepplins and of course Rolling Stones "Sitcky Fingers" playing with the zipper on front. Not only was my father a classic rock fan but also an R&B man so I pretty much grew up listening to all types of music.
From Junior High- High school I went went through my phases as any teen would and growing up in Carson, Ca-Long Beach, Ca. my music selection was eclectic. I wrote songs and dreamed about becoming a record producer. I went to college and majored in recording engineering and ended up an On Air DJ at a small radio station in Colorado for almost 2 years. Returning to L.A. working for another small station for 1/2 a year called KFOX and doing some fun time at KLBC. Did odd jobs from music programming at a LOL roller skating rink and customer service. Ended up returning to school to learn Culinary Arts, which I plan to continue and now a cooking instructor and owner of a small party planning company.
Now that I'm older and have a family I'm beginning to appreciate more and also staying true to who I am and what my music means to me. As long it blows out my stereo speakers and I can sing along to it. I say "Rock On!" |
