| My Life Story: |
Some of you may remember me, for those who have no clue who I am, the
name is Rhea not diarhhea or gonorrhea (notice the spellings). Trust me i have heard
those all my life :).I dj'd here a couple years back for a long time, took an early retirement.
Then realized VB's retirement benfits suck and they wouldnt allow me unemployment
(go figure). So here I am, back for more bullshit from you request hogs.
My metal beginnings began when I lived in Germany many years ago. We use to ride
the bus to school and some older kids would give the bus driver cassettes(yes i said cassettes)
of what are now classics Metallica, Slayer, Mercyful Fate and much more. Thus my love of headbangin
moshing, and the PIT began. Later sealed the deal with hubby(captcaveman) a bassist, to a lifelong marriage deal :)
He introduced me to local bands(tampa, fl area) such as Nasty Savage, Savatage and Obituary.
Somewhere along life's path we had kids and they are into pop so my tastes expanded, not to mention
my mothers love for classical and my dads obsession with "old" rock n roll being earlier influences. My love for metal
is always there in the forefront so that brought me to braingell radio about 7 years ago.
I pride my shows on requests and the challenge of never having to say "i dont have that one". My shows tend to be
on the harder side and old school metal(no not hairband), though sad to say i do have some of those tunes as well. |
