Band: Delphian
Album: Unravel
Released: April 23
Song Played: Focus
Info: The sound of Delphian used to be too hectic and restless in the past, which wasn't always good for the songs. Especially the combination between the technical metal and the unique vocal lines of female singer Aniek Janssen wasn't really successful. Their 2nd CD UNRAVEL is almost like a whole new band, and sounds alot less congested. Except for the lack of anything catchy or memorable in the songs, this album is far suppior to their first.

Band: Lion's Share
Album: Emotional Coma

Song Played: Edge Of The Razor
Info: The band breaks its silence after six years. The production fits like a glove. The guest musicians are no less than familiar names in the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal circuit. The band is LION’S SHARE, the new album is called "Emotional Coma" and this may be their finest album to date.

Band: Hellfueled
Album: Memories In Black
Released: June 1
Song Played: Monster
Info: They hail from Sweden, they've been playing since 1998, thier a heavy-metal-band, and almost everyone says "the voice of singer Andy Alkman really does sound a lot like Ozzy Osbourne". Combine this with the fact that the guitar player clearly listened to the collected works of Zakk Wylde. No matter what, Hellfueled made a nice album that really grooves!

Band: Shakra
Album: Infected
Released: May 18
Song Played: Make Your Day
Info: Shakra, the Hard Rock band from Switzerland, releases another awesome CD. The CD entitled Infected will do just that, infect you. This is one of the best mainstream commercially oriented CDs I've heard in awhile.
