Yes any registered member of Braingell can add an article to the Braingell Frontpage, and its easy to do. You don't need to know anything technical, just a few common things about surfing the web.
Have you read a great article and thought about sharing it with other Braingellers? Then do these easy to follow instructions.

First hover over the Contribute on the menu bar near the top of the page. Slide down to Add An Offsite Article and click on it.
In a second or so you will come to a page that looks like the image below. Don't worry, it looks more difficult than it really is.

On the line where it reads Article Address, and shows an
http:// already in the line is where you will want to add in the address of the article. Don't worry, you don't have to type the whole thing out. Most browsers will let you simply right-click inside the address display bar and copy the address. Then you can simply past it into this section. Since the field already contains the
http:// you will want to make sure that this appears only once on this line. If your line starts off like this:
http://http:// then simply erase the first copy of
http:// some people do this before they paste the address in.
Next is the Category. This is a simple pulldown with category names. Choose the best one that fits the article you're adding.
Now comes the Article Title. Look on the page where the article you would like to add resides. Highlight the article title with your mouse. Right-click and copy. Come back and paste it into the line.
As for the Brief De_script_ion, you can do the same as you did above. However this time copy a juicy part of the story and paste it into this section.
By now you've noticed the numbers on the right of each section are changing. These start of with the amount off free space you have. Once the number reaches 0 (zero) you will not be able to add anything more. You should never reach zero any any field except the Brief de_script_ion. If you do, then check your information. If your Brief De_script_ion reaches zero, erase a few of the last words, pick a good cliff-hanger word for the story and add a "..." This will lead people to click on the link to read the full article.
The next to fields are optional, you do not have to enter anything into them at all.
The first is Picture/Video URL. If the article has a picture that goes with it and you would like to display it on Braingell, right-click the picture and choose Copy Image Location or something to that effect depending on your browser. The past it into the bar. If you are using a video, usually video sites have a link that you can copy easily that leads back to the video, just paste that link into this line.
The second is MP3 URL. You can do very this almost the same way you did the picture/video. Just right-click the link to the physical MP3 file, and Copy Link Location, and paste it in.
In the table below the input area, is a reminder of which video services (if you've pasted a video URL) the site supports, and the format the link should look like. If your link resembles the demonstration links then your good to go... if it looks different, then recheck your link on that page.
Now all that is left to do is click on the SUBMIT button and the website will enter your entry into the frontpage, and bring you right back to the page where you can submit other stories. It will also thanks you for your addition.
Once you have entered all your articles, click back on the HOME in them menu. Click on your articles to make sure they go to the right pages. If they don't, or your picture doesn't work, or you notice a type in the de_script_ion, or whatever... you will see in the lower left corner the word EDIT. You can edit the article over and over until it is just the way you want it.
So mostly its a bunch of simple cut and paste. I hope this has cleared up everything for every one. If you have questions please feel free to ask them by repling to this message.
