Wondering what the hells going on with the Now Playing area?

Think it looks like crap, or does it look cool?

Do the icon buttons make sense, or should the icons be different?

i dig the pictures with the songs... where do those pix come from? is there a repository to add others?

i see that only the playing song displays with the dj and dont see the last 3 songs like i used to. i did like to see those previous songs.

as far as the icons go, i dont know what they mean, so i clicked on them and they didnt work.

if i had to take a wild guess about what they stand for i would say the house is to return to the bgr homepage, the cd would be a purchase the cd link and and the mic would be to uuuuuuuuuhmm,,, go into chat?

After talking with vB alot... I removed the gray border from the Now Playing area... if you didn't see it, its probably a good thing... it was a big, and I do mean big gray ring border.

The newer edges match those of the border on the left column much better.

This new almost invisible look, looks really good to me. Anyone else?

If you are still seeing the old image, give your browser some time to notice the picture change, or do a complete refresh of the page, for FireFox users, press CNTRL-SHIFT-R.

The buttons reload the entire page, which is nice in one way, because we get to show more ads... which pays the bills. The draw back, is that its re-loading the whole page.

I've tested the buttons in IE, FF, Opera, and Safari, so if they aren't working for you, please let me know what browser you are using.

Okay, perhaps the Home and CD icons weren't the best ones to use, but I see why you thought what you did when you posted your ideas. I'll be changing these.

I've now made it so if you hover over the buttons, it will bring up the normal info bubble, telling you what the button is.

If someone would like to make us some cooler buttons, rather than letting me continue on hoping to get it right, please step forward. The graphic size for the buttons should be no larger than 22x22.

As for the graphics along side the song info, I like it too! While there is a repository where the graphics are kept, here on BGR, they aren't accessible. Hmmm... maybe if I point out the spot to vB he could make it accessible to a few people, like you, to help me include pictures.

Oh, I forgot... yes Berube, the recent songs played are there... I like that too. Instead of 3 you can see 4 now. And yes, the current DJs info is still available too.

I think the border is kinda weird with it being round and kind of transparent doesn't go with anything else on the site? Can't it be rectangle like it was before to match all the other boxed areas of the site?

Also seems very gray and really sticks out like it doesn't belong on the site. It doesn't really match anything else...

Can it update itself? can just that box be refreshed everytime a new song gets played?
