the local record shop has the needle for your turntable but you only have $4.00 and it cost $5.50
you cant afford to buy it because you just spent $4.99 on a brand new album you cant even listen to because your turntable is temporarily useless
yeah, it really happened. prices might have varied just a bit but i remember it well. it was the cars album with all of the good songs. forgot the name.
"best friends girl" , "moving in stereo" , "substitution - mass confusion, clouds inside your head" - yeah, that album.
