I've recently been asked this alot... and its hard to narrow it down to just one thing. Its everything about it that just makes me luv it.

Example #1: Go into any other browser and set your HomePage. Nice, but all browsers do that. Okay, now go into Firefox and setup your HomePageS like this: http://www.braingell.com|http:// www.wastedzombie.com

Yeah, and as long as you keep putting one of those vertical bars | you can add in as many home pages as you like that all open up when you launch the browser, or hit the home button.

I work on many computers and I find that almost every one of them has IE. So I always use IE

Only reason I use firefox is on one site that does not behave well on IE that I have to use for business.

I needed Fire fox for a school thing once. Never changed back. Kinda like it ^^

Ever notice how webpages load within a browser? They are designed to load 1 thing at a time... each picture 1 at a time, each paragraph 1 at a time... every 1 thing after the other thing, and all this adds up!

Reason #2: Firefox allows you to change almost everything! Do the following in your Firefox, and trust me, you will see a difference. In the address bar of Firefox type in "about:config", in the filter type in "network.http", locate "network.http.pipelining" and double-click it so the value changes to TRUE. Now look for "network.http.proxy-pipelining" and do the same to it. Last change you need to make is by double-clicking on "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and when the box pops up, put in the number 30. This allows Firefox to grab up to 30 items all at once... you can go higher, but most servers limit how many things it will feed at once to a single browser, and most fall right around that 30 limit. Some servers I've noticed limit this number to 2 items... but atleast 2 is faster than 1.

my experience with firefox is that most of the time it works great and from what i understand its more secure than IE but ive had issues with viewing some pages with firefox......then there's the everloveable don't hit backspace or it boots you from the chat....i dont have any issues with IE ever so i stick with what works consistantly.
