Sheriff Laney is more of a proper target for Sharon's shrewdness than say Iron Maiden - who she egged and booed during their performance at OzzFest. I've never quite got over that one. Maiden kept playing and took the abuse like real "Troopers."

I read about this in Rolling Stone, and I sympathize with Ozzy. That's no fair way to treat him or his listeners. Police, please do your jobs with respect for civilians.

Another thing that bothers me about the article is how the Sheriff says how creative he was for coming up with this type of sting. The Police across the U.S. have been inviting non-violent felons to "suprise parties" for years. I just saw a video example of this on Cable yesterday, on some show called "Wildest Cop Show Moments 2."

HMM I see this two ways. The cop was creative, but a lil stupid. He should of let ozzy in on his secret plan, because we all know Ozzy is a publicity WHORE!!! On the other hand, by not telling Ozzy he set himself up for a nice lil lawsuite from the sue happy Sharon...
