I think downloading music is just like back in the day people would ether tape the songs off the radio or borrow someones album and just tape it. It's just today everything is digital. We have more communication now. If it's hurts anything it hurts sales of singles but we no longer live in the day of those little round donuts we called 45s.

Don't get me wrong, I miss those things

Loving it or hating it isn't stopping it, as long as people can do what they can to trade in music it's bound to happen. It's accepting it and finding ways to either market mp3s in a good (non-conglomo) way, or just shutting the fuck up and letting it happen that's gonna change things..

Yeah, what SRG said! Hehe!

What SRG said makes no sense.

Ok, lemmy recap... Either let it happen and shut the fuck up, or find a smart way to fix it... either way, condeming or praising it is fuckin stupid and Kud is acting like a fuckin ego r-tard... and who the fuck said he's the hardest working man in music? Other than the tools at CraveMagazine who would prolly say anything for a fuckin review... .. I like Kud, but don't push it...

Artists who work hard at thier craft aren't allowed to have a say in the situation one way or another?!?!?! You obviously have yours, let him have his.
As I said...no sense.

Ooook... what I mean is, having an opinion is stupid... what the fuck does an opinion do? Either come up with a way to fix the problem or shut the fuck up. "Slamming downloaders" just means your taking sides, not making progress...
Comment #9 by Damage Case on January 01, 2008 at 11:17am
Which is an opinion about the matter in and of itself...

People are going to download music until it becomes so cheap to get tunes that it makes more sense to go buy the music.

wow damage, your logic is outstanding, opinions aren't evil, they just don't help fix things..

Thank You...I feel the same about my logic. I guess all those years at University weren't wasted after all!
But seriously, your point is not lost on me. I see it. It's just that you don't seem to realize that you are talking yourself into a corner. Your posts condemn those who have thoughts on the matter and say things like "Either let it happen and shut the fuck up, or find a smart way to fix it" and "what the fuck does an opinion do? Either come up with a way to fix the problem or shut the fuck up" all the while making comments on the matter yourself. In a nutshell, I guess I am trying to say that maybe you should listen to your own opinion and take your own advice.

It's a nice way for saying your logic sucks.
I haven't stated my opinion, my opinion is fuck the organized recording conglomeration and fuck people who make "good" music for just money. What I was stating is that he should shut the fuck up or fix it.. You know, put up or shut up?
... university, lol, lemmy guess what's next, personal insults and banter about the definition of "opinion"
