The Rolling Stones have topped Forbes' annual Musicians Rich List, after making just short of $100 million in the last financial year.
The rock legends recently brought the curtain down on their enormous "Bigger Bang" world tour, with a triumphant show at the O2 Arena in London.
The band earned $88 million in total,
Elsewhere in the chart, it has been a lucrative year for Madonna, off the back of her "Confessions" world tour, and Bon Jovi, who complete the Top 5.
The new Forbes Musicians Rich List Top 10 is as follows:
01 Rolling Stones - $88 million
02 Jay-Z - $83 million
03 Madonna - $72 million
04 Bon Jovi - $67 million
05 Elton John - $53 million
06 Celine Dion - $45 million
07 Tim McGraw - $37 million
08 50 Cent - $33 million
09 U2 - $30 million
10 Diddy - $23 million

wow... soon the rolling stones will be passing stones, but at least the vibrations from the speakers save them from getting that surgery...
