I can't understand where AC/DC is coming from. Their albums have never had any narrative thread. The songs on their albums--especially since Bon's death--have been a bunch of anthemic singles. iTunes was made for their kind of music. To portray themselves as artistes whose albums have artistic integrity is total bull. Not since 1981's "For Those About To Rock" have they made an album where the songs were consistently great. Since then, it's been one or two good songs per album (feel free to disagree). Since 1990, Johnson has sounded like Donald Duck. They're worn out. They desperately need iTunes.
I'm old. I know how it is to be skeptical of new technology. But even I came around to iTunes. The AC/DC guys are even older than me. I understand their hesitancy. But iTunes has proven itself.
I don't buy their albums, but I'd buy a ton of their individual songs if they were on iTunes. Maybe they should just throw their whole discography up on iTunes and retire with honor.

WTF?.... I'm having a bizarre sense of deja vu in a way. Did Lars Ulrich join AC/DC or something?
As a musician myself, I certainly appreciate the album format, as do many music lovers. So in some senses I can appreciate a part of the arguement they make... but Slave-Mart? FUCK YOU GUYS... disappointing.
As a side note, smaller up and coming musicians stand a MUCH better chance making a thin dime or 2 at this by selling individual songs this day and age. This is NOT about preserving old school industry bullshit. Time to move forward - adapt or die!
