Setting up the Crossfader and the Compressor/Limiter

Please be forewarned that this software can be very difficult to dial in and get used to... Be sure you have been asked to install it from vBoogieMan or MentalCase/CrazyIvan and have one of us on hand while you install to ask questions if you get stuck.

First you need to make sure you have the AGC settings created by CrazyIvan. If you did not download it, do it by right clicking and saving the file here.

Within your Voice FX, click the EQ button

Then click "Deck A" then the "AGC" tab.

Click the "Bypass All" button and do this for "Deck B", "Sound FX", "Aux 1", and "Voice FX"..

Next goto the "Mixer" tab and then load the CrazyIvan.agc file:

This will set your compressor and limiters to the required settings.

Air Output settings should be the following:
Output Driver: Kernel Streaming output
Output Device: (Your Soundcard) .

Now change your Buffer Settings to the following:
Packets: 6
Packet Time: 20 ms
Make sure you click the "Output" tab and click "Apply Now".

Then click the "Ok" button.

Next to do is set up your "Crossfader" and Gap Killer settings.

On the main tool bar click File -> Config then click the "Crossfading"
Set the Crossfading as the image shows below:

Then click the Gap Killer properties and set the Gap Killer setting to the matching image:

Click "Ok" and then File -> Save Configuration
