RUSH To Discuss 30th Anniversary Of ‘Moving Pictures’
Radio broadcaster and rock musician interviewer Redbeard of “In the Studio” will be airing an archive interview with Rush members Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart during the week of January 3, 2011. They will be talking about the 30th anniversary of Rush’s “Moving Pictures”.
“‘Moving Pictures’ is our most popular album and it’s the one that seems to have passed the test of time most gracefully,” observes singer/bassist Geddy Lee. “We’re playing better than ever, and I’m not sure we’re quite ready to put that tour away,” he adds.
“In The Studio” is a weekly interview-with-music “rockumentary” which delves into the making of many great albums recorded in rock and roll history and Redbeard interviews the musicians who created these classic albums.
Rush has confirmed it’s performance “Time Machine” to be on April 15, 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio at the Quicken Loans Arena as a tribute to the first city that played the bands music. The event will be filmed for a full-length release.
