Corrosion of Conformity and the Story Behind Animosity Featured in Decibel’s Current Issue

Corrosion of Conformity, who recently wrapped up a mini-tour with their Animosity era line-up, are featured in Decibel Magazine‘s Feb.  installment of the ongoing Hall of Fame series.

The seven-page piece explores the trio’s influence in the world where punk met metal with Decibel describing the Animosity album as “a crucial stylistic lynchpin in the bridge between metal and punk.” Animosity was released in 1985.  Copies can be purchased on newsstands as well as via Decibel’s online store:
Corrosion of Conformity is currently in the studio recording a new album featuring their original line-up of Woody Weatherman, Mike Dean and Reed Mullin.
