Bone Crushing Heavy Metal Comes to Birmingham in March 2011 announces that some of popular names in heavy metal will be coming to Birmingham in March as part of dates for an extensive European tour.

Bonecrusher Fest 2011 will offer fans the chance to hear the latest music from metal heavyweights such as Dying Fetus, Carnifex, Keep of Kalessin, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Angelus Apatrida and Annotations of An Autopsy.

Headlining the event will be Dying Fetus, the ten year death metal veterans, who will be playing music from their latest Descend into Depravity album as well as a number of previous hits. The band’s style is said to have the subtlety of a full scale war with lead singer John Gallagher screaming out the vocals, accompanied by extreme guitar playing and drums.

Other acts to look out for will be Keep of Kalessin who recently came third in the national competition for Eurovision Song Contest entries in Norway. Carnifex will also be playing new material from their Hell Chose Me record.

Fans will need to book hotels in Birmingham for 9th March 2011 near the O2 Academy, if planning on staying overnight when the festival comes to the city. The Birmingham show is also one of only two performances in the UK, the other taking place in London.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at commented: “Hundreds of fans will be heading to Birmingham to see the international line up of heavy metal legends. To avoid disappointment people are advised to book rooms well in advance of the festival date.”
