BIRTH A.D. Heads to Cadillac Ranch in TX for Upcoming Album Photo Shoot
Crossover kings BIRTH A.D. have headed to my home state, as well as theirs, and have taken part in an “exclusive” photo shoot at the legendary Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, TX (which I have never seen, btw).
BIRTH A.D. bassist/vocalist Jeff Tandy comments, “Texas has a divisive reputation throughout the world, but one thing we’ve always had going for us is mythology. The image of gunslingers riding horses through blasted plains is eternal, but it’s not the only thing that makes the region fascinating. The Cadillac Ranch is an iconic Texan landmark, and it was the perfect place for us to capture the strange and ragged spirit of our home state.”
BIRTH A.D. will enter the studio in January to record the highly anticipated full-length follow up to their critically acclaimed Stillbirth of a Nation EP. The album will be recorded with renowned producer and thrash metal guru Alex Perialas (Anthrax, SOD, Nuclear Assault).
