Black Sunshine, Featuring Members Of Theory of a Deadman and Filter, Sign With BreakSilence Recordings
BLACK SUNSHINE, which features professional extreme athlete Matt Reardon, along with drummer Matt “Toast” Young, bassist Christopher Serafini and Filter/Theory Of A Deadman guitarist Charles Lee, have signed with California based BreakSilence Recordings. The band will unleash their debut album on March 30, 2010 through the label. The group is currently streaming music from their debut album online at their MySpace.
Commented frontman Matt Reardon:
“We couldn’t be more stoked about signing to BreakSilence Recordings and what the future has in store for Black Sunshine. The label has a history of developing bands and delivering, which is what we really wanted in a label. We wanted to make sure the label that we signed with got the big picture and were committed for the long haul. They also back up everything they say, which is a rarity in the music business right now. Right now most labels are bleeding losses month after month, but BreakSilence is actually one of the few labels out there that is growing.”
