Ex-KISS Guitarist ACE FREHLEY Losing Home; Not Paid Mortgage in Two Years
According to the the U.K. based Daily Mail, Ace Frehley is losing his home after a bank foreclosed on his house because he hasn’t paid his mortgage in two years.
Ace Frehley, the former lead guitarist of KISS, owes more than $700,000 on his $735,000 house in Westchester County, New York.
He also owes nearly $20,000 for taxes to the county, the town of Yorktown and the local school district that he didn’t pay in 2011 or 2012.
Ace Frehley tired to mount a comeback in 2009 with his self-produced album Anomaly, which he recorded at his home in Westchester County
Frehley’s house on 3.1 acres is worth about $735,000. The guitarist owes more than $700,000 on it, in addition to $20,000 in back taxes.
The Journal News reports that Frehley made his last mortgage payment in March 2011.
He bought the 2,441-square-foot house in 2000 for $650,000 and refinanced it in 2006 with a loan for nearly three quarters of a million dollars.
Frehley could not be reached for comment on Sunday.
