Godsmack Tops Billboard Chart, Deftones Claim Sixth Spot

GODSMACK have topped the Billboard Album Chart for the third time in their career with 117,481 copies of their The Oracle album flying off store shelves. Diamond Eyes, the Deftones‘ sixth studio album, sold 62,267 copies – enough to land the Sacramento, California band the #6 slot on the chart.

Some of older SMNnews readers might remember Godsmack frontman Sully Erna from his days pounding the skins for funk metallers Strip Mind. The band released one album in 1993 on Warner Bros Records. Check out the freshness below!
