The Doctor, a Voodoo Priest, came across a lost and scared little girl. He cursed her with a magic spell to turn her into a doll. The curse was disrupted by her terrifying and taunting screams, and the girl remained half human. As Raven lived in the dark world of the Doctor, she secretly learned his magic and conjured up Muppet, The Demon. She made him her eternal protector and trapped him inside her heart. The Doctor and Muppet created Stitches to help search for lost souls looking to join their dark world. Welcome to the dark metal carnival!

ABOUT LAMB OF GOD:Richmond, VA natives LAMB OF GOD are one of heavy music’s most successful and uncompromising bands. When the band’s first major release, New American Gospel, was released in 2000 it was immediately touted as a classic within the genre. AllMusic stated it best, “The essential signatures of post-Pantera metal are in abundance on Lamb of God’s inaugural album. New American Gospel provides a mighty oak upon which gritty American metal’s faith is maintained, effectively bridging the ’90s’ insistence upon drill-sergeant technicality and the old school’s determined focus on riff construction.” Some predicted a sophomore slump – that no band could top a debut album so strong. They were proven wrong, with the release of 2004’s Ashes of the Wake, an album that not only exploded stateside (certified Gold by RIAA) but also saw the spread of LAMB OF GOD to all corners of the world. The band’s first DVD, Killadelphia, followed shortly after and was certified Platinum. Then, with Sacrament (Album, 2006, #8 debut on the US Billboard Hot 200), LAMB OF GOD were honored with a Grammy nomination for the track “Redneck”, which would be the first of five Grammy nominations for the band to date. Next came Walk With Me In Hell (DVD, 2008) and then the band’s fourth album Wrath in 2009, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 200 Chart, and then Resolution, which debuted at #3. Shortly after the release of Resolution, vocalist Randy Blythe was arrested in Prague, and spent 30 days in jail on a charge for which he was later acquitted (and lead to Blythe’s bestselling memoir, Dark Days, as well as the film As The Palaces Burn). After regrouping, LAMB OF GOD lost no ground with their latest full-length album, VII: Sturm Und Drang, the album was #3 in the US, #1 in Canada, #2 in Australia, #3 in Finland, #7 in UK, #12 in Germany and #13 in Japan, and #13 in Netherlands. “Overlord”, the first single from VII: Sturm Und Drang, achieved a new milestone for the band when it reached the Top Thirty of US Active Rock Radio Chart (Mediabase). In late 2016, LAMB OF GOD paid tribute to late, longtime fan and friend Wayne Ford with the release of The Duke EP, which raised funds and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The EP release coincided with a charity campaign offering personal items such as Blythe’s Ashes Of The Wake Gold plaque, signed signature model guitars, handwritten lyrics and more. Most recently, LAMB OF GOD released a covers album under their original band name, Burn The Priest, entitled Legion: XX, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the band’s first album release. The buzzed-about album features tracks originally performed by Cro-Mags, Agnostic Front, Quicksand, Ministry, Bad Brains, Melvins, S.O.D., The Accused, Big Black and Richmond punk band Sliang Laos. Since inception and through it all, LAMB OF GOD‘s consistent and unwavering commitment to their music – and their fans – has kept them a critical and fan favorite worldwide, selling millions of albums and tickets around the world. LAMB OF GOD is Randy Blythe (vocals), Mark Morton (guitar), Willie Adler (guitar), John Campbell (bass), and Chris Adler (drums).
the new band featuring David Vincent (ex-MORBID ANGEL), Rune
“Blasphemer” Eriksen (ex-MAYHEM, AURA NOIR) and Flo Mounier (CRYPTOPSY),
have premiered the first track from their forthcoming debut album
‘Something Wicked Marches In’. Titled “Praevalidus”, the song can be
streamed now here.|
Rune “Blasphemer” Eriksen comments on the track: “In my opinion, any one of the songs on ‘Something Wicked Marches In’ could be a potential single. We ended up choosing ‘Praevalidus’ as the first one, mostly due to its immediacy and intensity but also because it feels like a suitable way of showcasing what this band and album is all about. Let the celebration of the wicked commence!”
VLTIMAS will release ‘Something Wicked Marches In’ on March 29, 2019 via Season of Mist.
The artwork, by noted artist Zbigniew Bielak (GHOST, GORGUTS, MAYHEM, and more), and track list for the album can be found below.
1. Something Wicked Marches In
3. Total Destroy!
5. Truth And Consequence
6. Last Ones Alive Win Nothing
8. Diabolus Est Sanguis
9. Marching On
After years of absence from the underground
black metal scene, guitarist Rune Eriksen (AURA NOIR, EARTH ELECTRIC,
ex-MAYHEM), has ventured back into the aural landscapes he’s so widely
known for. Having played with one of Norway’s leading extreme metal
bands for years, Eriksen seeks to coalesce classic, cold Scandinavian
riffing with an air of darkness and the signature force of death metal.|
To maximize his strength, Eriksen brought in veterans of the extreme; David Vincent of the legendary MORBID ANGEL, and acclaimed drummer Flo Mounier from CRYPTOPSY.
The initial songwriting sessions proved to be a fruitful endeavor, and songs were later fleshed out by Rune at his home studio in Portugal. These were finalized when Flo Mounier and Eriksen returned to Texas, in order to put the final touches to the material at Vincent’s home studio.
The band entered Orgone Studios in Woburn, England in May 2018 with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano to record their debut album.
The new record includes nine crushing tracks, and a vast array of influences, but most notably the distinguished symbioses of these three talented musicians. A dark and sinister ambiance meets commanding deathly metal.
With Judas Priest’s latest studio album, Firepower, confirmed as one of the most successful of the band’s entire career – landing in the “top 5” of 17 countries (including their highest chart placement ever in the U.S., at #5) – demand to see the legendary metal band in concert is higher than ever.
And North American headbangers will get their chance to experience the legendary band on a nearby concert stage this coming spring/summer, when Priest will tour throughout the continent – with the classic metal band Uriah Heep as support.
Kicking off on May 3rd at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and wrapping up on June 29th at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, fans will get an opportunity to catch Priest at the height of their concert powers on any one of the tour’s 32 dates.
“Metal maniacs – Judas Priest is roaring back to the USA for one more blast of Firepower! Firepower 2019 charges forth with new first time performances born out of Firepower, as well as fresh classic cuts across the decades from the Priest world metalsphere. Our visual stage set and light show will be scorching a unique, hot, fresh vibe – mixing in headline festivals, as well as the in-your-face venue close ups. We can’t wait to reunite and reignite our maniacs…THE PRIEST IS BACK!” -Judas Priest
There are few heavy metal bands that have managed to scale the heights that Judas Priest have during their nearly 50-year career – responsible for issuing such all-time classic albums as British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance, and Painkiller, as well as the anthems “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight,” and “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming.”
And Priest’s presence and influence remains strong, as evidenced by the chart performance of ‘Firepower’ and its glowing reviews, a Grammy Award win for ‘Best Metal Performance’, plus being a VH1 Rock Honors recipient and a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination.
Also, Priest can be credited as being one of the first metal bands to pioneer wearing leather and studs – a look that would eventually be embraced by metalheads throughout the world.
Undoubtedly, Judas Priest’s upcoming North American tour will only add to their ever-growing status of heavy metal legends.

Apocalyptic Rhymes, the forthcoming sophomore album from German Power Thrashers is now streaming in its entirety. Click on the link below to stream it!
Apocalyptic Rhymes will be released November 9 on Cruz Del Sur Music. Compact disc and vinyl LP pre-orders are available from the Cruz Del Sur Music Store.
On SEPTAGON‘s Apocalyptic Rhymes, thrash and power metal unite like never before in a socio-political firestorm that tests the mind and bangs the head! Featuring members of Atlantean Kodex, Lanfear and Them, SEPTAGON pushes subgenre boundaries with technical, yet catchy songs on Apocalyptic Rhymes that are rife with dashing melodies and stellar vocal interplay.
As if being in Lanfear and Them wasn’t enough for German guitarist Markus “Ulle” Ullrich, his power/thrash outfit SEPTAGON provides another canvas for him to color. Formed in 2013 with Atlantean Kodex vocalist Markus Becker, Septagon (who are completed by second guitarist Stef Binnig-Gollub, bassist Alexander Palma and drummer Jürgen “General” Schrank) was created to harness Ullrich’s desire to write fast and tight thrash with a vocalist who could carry the songs over the top. Becker, already known for his work in epic metallers and labelmates Atlantean Kodex, was the obvious choice. Born was their 2016 Deadhead Syndicate debut, an album quickly recognized for its knifing blend of Bay Area thrash and classic power metal bravado. Figuring they could better the debut, Septagon soon wrote and recorded ten songs that would become their sophomore album, the appropriately-titled Apocalyptic Rhymes.
Recorded across a variety of studios and produced by the band, Apocalyptic Rhymes is punctuated by a raw, but snappy production job. In turn, the album finds the band offering a variety of styles and flavors both musically and lyrically, from the punchiness of opener “Weight of the World” to the bass-driven “Home, Sweet Hell” up through the churning title track, where fiery guitar solos from Ullrich and Binning-Gollub and Becker’s vocal acrobatics take form. Even as the album ascends into the spiraling melodic heights found on “The Unfathomable Evil,” it goes on the attack on “P.O.T.U.S.A.,” a song inspired by Becker’s time in America and is critical of the current presidential regime that has divided the country. Apocalyptic Rhymes eventually crests on the closing “Sunset Blood,” a lush, epic construct that allows SEPTAGON to stretch out musically to include acoustic guitars, twin guitar harmonies and carefully-plotted vocal spots.
An album sure to stand out among the dime-a-dozen traditional thrash and power metal entries, Apocalyptic Rhymes is an unapologetic bold step for SEPTAGON, a band unafraid to not only push musical boundaries, but political and social ones as well.
