About the band:
XIX is a five-member metal act hailing from London. The whole concept of creating a heavy metal band was conceived in 2019 by Vocalist Hercules Zotos, Guitarists Lj Strat, and C Dyne, Bass Guitarists & Vocalist Takis Foitos and Drummer Tony Michaels. With influences from Hard Rock and Alternative Metal music acts, the band sets forth to express their artistic drive via music.

Their name comes from a Stephen King Novel:
As Stephen King wrote in his book The Dark Tower, “This whole deal has gone nineteen.”
“This was where we found inspiration to name our band — to express the diverse potentials synonymous with the number. As we move forward, we plan to create Alternative Metal music that stretches all age groups and genres and help the world find its pillar. We want to discover ourselves through the music we make, and we hope that our fans do the same. ”

Some of our influences include Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N’ Roses, Disturbed, Three Days Grace and many others from within our music genre. You can find us on Facebook, Spotify and Twitter.

Surprise Performance by Foo Fighters Icon Dave Grohl Adds to Exciting Afternoon of Music

Just enough cloud cover on Sunday, May 5 made for a gorgeous Southern California day for the 5th Annual RIDE FOR RONNIE Motorcycle Ride and Concert, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund (www.diocancerfund.org). Some 300 motorcycle riders joined the Ride at Harley-Davidson of Glendale, culminating with a concert at Los Encinos Park in Encino where a surprise performance by the Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl added to an exciting afternoon of rock music.
This year’s RIDE FOR RONNIE brought in $46,000 for the Fund’s mission of cancer prevention, research and education for a cure for this dreaded disease that has touched all of us in some fashion.

He was my neighbor actually; we lived down the street from each other. I encourage everybody to come out and support the cause because it’s a beautiful day with a bunch of beautiful people, and we hope to see you next year.”

Staff from Kapoor Medical along with members Dr. Wong’s team were on hand to field questions about the latest innovations in cancer prevention and screening and distributed complimentary sunscreen.

The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund (www.diocancerfund.org) was formed in memory of the legendary rock singer Ronnie James Dio, who lost his life to gastric cancer in 2010.  A privately funded 501(c)(3) public charity, the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund has already raised over $2 million since its inception.  Monies raised have been committed to the cancer research work of the T. J. Martell Foundation for Cancer, AIDS and Leukemia Research, the gastric cancer research unit of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where Ronnie was treated for gastric cancer during the last six months of his life, and other cancer research projects.  Over the past four years, the Dio Cancer Fund has committed funds to support the research of Dr. David Wong and his team at the UCLA School of Dentistry in developing a simple, non-invasive saliva test for the early detection of cancer. This technology has been in research and testing phases over the last three years and recently received regulatory approval.  This cutting-edge research, which is in keeping with the organization’s mission of cancer prevention, research and education,    will enable thousands of people to get screened for previously hard to detect cancers. Early detection saves lives!

HALCYON WAY Premiere Music Video For ‘The Church Of Me’

Shortly before their North American tour with Metal Church, which kicks off on April 23rd, Atlanta-based metallers HALCYON WAY present a music video for the track “The Church Of Me”. The song is taken from their new album “Bloody But Unbowed”, out now on Agonia Records. The video is available via Decibel Magazine at:
The band’s guitarist Jon Bodan had this to sat about the video: “We are really hyped to get this video out there into the interwebs – when I came up with the idea for this song a couple of years ago, I immediately had a vision for a video with the sketchy tent revival preacher, and I really think our director Chance nailed what we were going for. This was the 2nd song I worked on for ‘Bloody But Unbowed’ and it’s really a cool feeling that we were able to work together to make that vision real. We hope everyone enjoys!”.

HALCYON WAY’s sound cannot be neatly slotted into any sub-category of metal. It can be described as heavy, catchy, technical, progressive and above all, focused on strong songcraft. From Megadeth to Dream Theater, to Testament and Chimaira – HALCYON WAY draws influences & inspiration from many metal bands. With a magnitude of catchy hooks, vocal harmonies a la King’s X or Stryper, and heavy, technical, yet ultimately accessible instrumentation, the band’s new album “Bloody But Unbowed” (out now on Agonia Records) is sure to please fans of many forms of metal. Be that modern, power, thrash and progressive metal – but also hard rock fans. Crammed full of huge anthemic choruses, shredding solos, and brutal riffs, this release checks off all the boxes.
“Bloody But Unbowed” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Trivium, Bad Wolves, Threat Signal) and is replete with artwork from Travis Smith (Opeth, Overkill, Death, Iced Earth). The album boasts a very special appearance of “The Nailhead Choir”, with notable guest musicians of Queensryche and Iced Earth fame.
HALCYON WAY is the ultimate example of blue-collar work ethic, self-reliant bootstrapping, and hard work & perseverance in spite of nearly insurmountable odds. The band has released four studio albums worldwide (through Nightmare Records/Sony RED, Massacre Records and most recently Agonia Records) and has performed on 4 continents (and about 20 countries and counting), touring with the likes of Saxon, Sabaton, Queensryche, Fates Warning, Fozzy, Skid Row, U.D.O., Delain, Angra and Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime.

Indestructible Noise Command (I.N.C.) have released a new animation video for ‘Identifier

the track is taken from their new album Terrible Things, which was released on March 8th, 2019. It’s Indestructible Noise Command’s first album in five years as it is the follow-up to 2014’s Black Hearse Serenade.Watch Indestructible Noise Command DESTROY the ludicrous Bird Box plotline: https://youtu.be/ky-WvnKgu50

Erik Barath explains: “The song ‘Identifier’ is actually a bit political. Based on the insanity and total meltdown by a large segment of the population after the 2016 elections and I was thinking about making a video based on that but then thought, people are really sick of politics. This was around the same time I saw the movie Bird Box with Sandra Bullock on Netflix and I thought, what a stupid fucking movie. I can’t even take a piss in the middle of the night without bumping into 5 or 6 things along the way in the dark. So I figured lets make a video based on the movie, but the thing that no one can look is Dennis, our vocalist. It’s fun and playful like the song so it all worked out in the end.

As for the making of the video, I hooked up with a 22 year old Ukrainian from Kiev named Vlad Naboka. He really wanted to make the video and hand drew the art himself, did it all by himself. Vlad doesn’t have a studio he works for, just a cool dude who has a passion. Did a pretty great job I think!

The Connecticut heavy metal outfit unleashed another aggressive album, which would mark their third full-length effort since their return in 2010. The band began working on their overall fifth studio album back in January 2018 and entered the studio in September. The group worked with Nicky Bellmore at Dexter Labs studios as the record promises to deliver the group’s thrash roots from albums such as 1987’s Razorback as well as adding a technical edge.

Track listing:

1. Fist Go Rek
2. Identifier
3. Declaration
4. Terrible Things
5. Pledge Of Legions
6. Unscathed
7. Bone Saw Ballet
8. Salmonella
9. Nemesis
10. Devil Of Hearts

STATIC-X Addresses Lead Vocalist Questions + Announces UK, EU, Australia and Pacific Northwest US Touring Plans

Brand New STATIC-X Album, Project Regeneration, Coming Soon
Today, STATIC-X dropped a special video in which fans can see and hear the band’s mysterious, unnamed vocalist performing the band’s cult classic, “Bled for Days”, along with the original Wisconsin Death Trip band lineup of Tony Campos, Ken Jay and Koichi Fukuda. The clip also showcases the band’s stage production for their highly-anticipated upcoming US tour, and teases a brand new song from their upcoming album, Project Regeneration.
Watch the clip here: https://youtu.be/_340zcRUO5g

“Everyone wants to know who will be singing and how we will be pulling off the material live,” says Tony Campos. “Well, here it is. Watch this video and you will see and hear exactly what we will be doing on the tour.”
Since the announcement of their upcoming Wisconsin Death Trip 20th Anniversary Tour dates in the US, based on incredible demand, STATIC-X has confirmed shows in 10 more countries as part of their world domination! The tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s platinum selling debut, Wisconsin Death Trip, and serve as a touring memorial for their late lead singer, Wayne Static.
In addition, STATIC-X have announced the beginnings of a second US leg to take place in December.
North American meet & greets are available now via www.Static-X.org (and www.DevilDriver.com for their performance dates).Tickets are available now via individual venues and their websites.
See below for a full list of dates and individual support artists.
STATIC-X is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their seventh studio album, entitled Project Regeneration. The album will feature 12 brand new STATIC-X tracks and contains several vocal performances and musical compositions by Wayne Static, along with a handful of high-profile guest vocal contributions.
“We are incredibly excited to announce that we will be taking the Wisconsin Death Trip 20th Anniversary Tour around the world,” says drummer Ken Jay. “The fans have shown so much love for the band and for Wayne and we couldn’t be more pumped for the rest of 2019. Thank you all for the encouragement and support!”
Ken Jay adds about the addition of the new vocalist, “For us, the goal was 100% about recapturing the vibe and the spirit of STATIC-X. We were never interested in using a hologram or using Wayne’s pre-recorded vocals. It has to be real and it has to have a soul and a pulse. STATIC-X has always been four guys. Two guitars, bass, drums, and vocals. We didn’t want to mess with that formula. This is the most electric version of Wisconsin Death Trip 2.0 that we can imagine, without actually having Wayne here with us.”
“At first, I was actually a little skeptical of how we could do all of this,” says Koichi Fukuda. “But, after I heard him sing, I was sold! I am so impressed with how far it has come in a short amount of time. We are working very hard to bring something very special to you all. I know that Wayne would be very proud of how much heart and effort has been put into this. It is truly an honor.”

“We were very lucky to find somebody who could fill such a unique role,” says Tony Campos. “We’ve all toured together and our bands came up together back in the day. This is just as special for him as it is for us. He was never interested in trying to make this about him and he was actually the one who suggested that the mask be the face of the memorial.”

As announced, the original STATIC-X lineup introduced on their 1999 platinum-selling debut full-length album, Wisconsin Death Trip – bassist Tony Campos, guitarist Koichi Fukuda and drummer Ken Jay – have joined forces once again to release a new album, Project Regeneration. The band has cultivated a treasure chest of vocal performances and musical compositions left behind by Wayne. Along with the help of STATIC-X‘s long-time producer Ulrich Wild, the band is in the process of completing the album now.
A new teaser featuring clips from a brand new music video, as well as five new STATIC-X tracks – “Road To Hell”, “Something Of My Own”, “Terminator Oscillator”, “Hollow” and “Disco Otsego” – along with a personal message from bassist Tony Campos about the inspiration behind Project Regeneration, is available to view now at www.static-x.org.
For the unfinished tracks, the band is inviting several of their friends to lend their voices for the completion of this very personal project. The guest vocalist curation process is being led by none other than SiriusXM programming pioneer Jose Mangin, who is working alongside the band as one of the executive producers for Project Regeneration.
STATIC-X has created a pre-order campaign allowing fans who purchase Project Regenerationin advance to have their name appear in the liner notes of the new album. Additional special pre-order package options are also available, including Project Regeneration merch bundles and several old school STATIC-X merch items to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip.  Pre-orders are available via www.static-x.org.

The Fifth Annual RIDE FOR RONNIE Motorcycle Ride and Concert will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2019, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. Comprising of a Motorcycle Ride originating at Harley-Davidson of Glendale, California and culminating with a concert at Los Encinos Park in Encino, California, the RIDE FOR RONNIE will raise awareness and funds for cancer prevention and research for a cure. The concert will once again be hosted by radio and television personality Eddie Trunk, who is also curating Eddie Trunk’s All Star Band – a group of stellar rock musicians selected to headline the afternoon of live music. Last year’s Ride brought in over $50,000 for the Dio Cancer Fund (www.diocancerfund.org).
Riders will assemble for a continental breakfast at Harley-Davidson of Glendale with kickstands up at 11:00AM. The Ride will take them around the northern edge of the San Fernando Valley to Los Encinos Park in Encino, where they will be treated to music, a raffle, silent and live auctions, food trucks and much more.
Kicking off the afternoon of live music at the park will be the popular Dio cover band DIA. They will be followed by LA rock band Budderside, Petty Cash, presenting the music of Tom Petty and Johnny Cash, and megarock band DC4. Participants in Eddie Trunk’s All Star Band will be announced shortly.
As always, a silent auction booth will have many amazing items available to bid on throughout the afternoon, while live auctions, featuring one-of-a-kind rock collectibles, will be held from the stage between artist performances.
Sponsors lending their continued support to the RIDE FOR RONNIE include Harley-Davidson of Glendale, Law Tigers, Archie’s Ice Cream and LA’s premier rock radio station, 95.5 KLOS.

Most recently, the Dio Cancer Fund has committed funds to support the research of Dr. David Wong and his team at the UCLA School of Dentistry in developing a simple, non-invasive saliva test for the early detection of cancer, which is in keeping with the Fund’s mission of cancer prevention, research and education.

UFO Announces Final North American “Last Orders” Tour

Last year Phil Mogg confirmed that this year’s 50th anniversary tour with UFO will be his last as the frontman of the long-running hard rock band. Consequently, it seems almost certain that at that point they will cease to exist. UFO were formed in London in 1969 and Mogg is their only ever-present member, performing on all of the group’s 22 studio albums.
While European dates have already been announced the band is now unveiling their initial North American dates for this final run. Confirmed dates are listed below and include two shows in UFO’s adopted hometown of Chicago, two special co-headline shows with fellow classic rock icons Blue Oyster Cult and two shows with Armored Saint supporting. A current list of confirmed dates can be found below. More shows will be added soon.
“This decision has been a long time coming, I’ve considered stepping down at the end of UFO’s previous tours in 2016,” Mogg explains. “I don’t want to call this a farewell tour as I hate that word, but this year’s gigs (2019) will represent my final tap-dancing appearances with the band.
“2019 marks UFO’s 50th anniversary, so the timing feels right,” he continues. “There will be a final tour of the UK and we will also play some shows in selected other cities that the band has a strong connection with. But outside of the UK this won’t be a long tour. Being out on the road isn’t always tremendously luxurious and although the playing is as great as it ever was, the stuff that surrounds it becomes very tiresome. I always told myself that when I reached that stage I would step down, and that’s what I’m going to do. This is the right time for me to quit.”
Mogg will turn 71 in April 2019 and although his voice remains strong, he admits that age played its part in his conclusion.
While many veteran bands in such a position simply cease playing live and continue to record, UFO will no longer be releasing new music. The covers collection ‘The Salentino Cuts’ (2017) is set to become a signing-off point, though Mogg insists that however unlikely the prospect might seem – the singer is a lone strand of consistency throughout a 50-year history.
You’ll have gathered that Mogg is not about to slash his wrists anytime soon. Of course he is sad that the finishing line is now within slight but has had sufficient time to live with and process such a massive personal decision.
“Maybe the best word to use is ‘bittersweet’,” he concludes. “But my time has arrived to be leaving UFO. And all that remains is to make sure that we have a great tour.”
