02. No Good, Mr. Holden
03. Hisingen Blues
04. Uncomfortably Numb
05. Buying Truth (tack och förlåt)
06. Longing
07. Ungrateful Are The Dead
08. RSS
09. The Siren

The album was produced, recorded, and mixed in analog by Don Alsterberg (JOSÉ GONZALES, JUNIP, SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES, THE INTERNATIONAL NOISE CONSPIRACY) at Don Pierre Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is due out in Europe on March 25, 2011

The band offer their commentary on their recording sessions: “We recorded the album in several different sessions. As much as possible, we tried to do live. All of it is 100% analog… and we’d like to take this opportunity to once and for all kill the argument that recording analog is ‘retro’ or that we’ve got a ‘retro’ sound. Analog recording is just one technique among many. Just like you build a house using bricks, wood or whatever. Paint a picture using oil, acrylic or Photoshop. Our music sounds best recorded analog; other bands sound best using nothing but computers and a thousand filters. Analog recording brings warmth and an organic feeling to the music, that’s what we like. To us, ‘retro’ is often something negative, meaning an unimaginative repetition of what has been or just a carbon copy of something old. We play timeless classic hard rock with a lot of blues and psychedelic influences among many others. And regarding analog being retro: Go through the history of rock and pick your best twenty albums. How many of them have been recorded on computers? Don’t mistake classic pieces of work for retro.”

The title track can be streamed at the official GRAVEYARD MySpace profile:

A limited edition 7” picture disc of the title track “Hisingen Blues” backed with the exclusive vinyl track “Granny And Davis” and featuring different artwork is now available through Nuclear Blast Germany’s mail-order. This release is limited to 500 copies worldwide and they’re destined to go fast!

HELL – Single Release + Show in Sweden!

HELL – single release + show in Sweden! - 2011-03-04 08:00

HELL’s Human Remains is without doubt one of the most interesting and important hard rock/metal releases in 2011.

The band formed in 1982 from the carcasses of UK metal bands RACE AGAINST TIME and PARALEX, whose ‘White Lightning’ EP was listed by Metallica as a favourite and which was subsequently included on the Lars Ulrich, Geoff Barton ‘NWOBHM ’79 Revisited’ sampler album.

Despite over five years of constant touring, the band were cruelly overlooked, HELL were too different, too extreme, too musically intelligent and far too thought-provoking for the more commercial mid 80’s metal mindset.
The final crushing blow came when their long-awaited 1986 album deal with Mausoleum collapsed as the label went bankrupt, followed by the tragic suicide of singer/guitarist, Dave Halliday in 1987. The remaining members drew a line in the sand and stopped playing overnight.
Fast forward to 2011 and the UK cult metallers are back…

Producer Andy Sneap, a lifelong friend of the band who was also was taught guitar by original singer/guitarist Halliday has painstakingly rerecord 10 Hell classics with the three surviving members.
Now with Sneap on Guitar, original founding members Kev Bower (Guitar/Keys) , Tony Speakman (Bass), Tim Bowler (Drums) and David Bower now taking over Vocal duties, the band are back with a vengeance.

Tomorrow, March 4th 2011 sees Nuclear Blast release the first single “Save Us From Those Who Would Save Us“ worldwide digitally and on vinyl. The band has also shot a video for “On Earth as It Is In Hell” the single B Side which shall be released shortly.

Hell are now also confirmed for SWEDENS ROCKSTADF: FALUN FESTIVAL in Falun, Sweden on June 4th

The debut album HUMAN REMAINS, which is already gaining mass appraisal from international media will be release on the 13th of May 2011 worldwide via Nuclear Blast.

The quotations speak for themselves.

A New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. If you want the blueprint of finest true metal….this is it”
This will be one of the landmark metal albums of the second decade of the 21st century. It is true metal and stunning.

Theatrical vocals to die for, timeless heavy metal riffs to kill for and a production to swear by. A guarantee that HUMAN REMAINS will end up on a ridiculous of “Best of 2011” lists

A Metal masterpiece! I expected a good album from what i had heard before – but not such a metal masterpiece! it sits perfectly between its instantly identifiable NWOBHM roots and more modern, but always classic heavy metal. goosebumps all over!

“Human Remains” is the essence of Metal – the perfect mix of Mercyful Fate, Rush and Judas Priest. One of the best debuts of the last 25 years!

“Human Remains” is probably one of the best British Metal albums, since “The Number Of The Beast”. This is the album, which you will surely hear… in hell.

DECEASED Announce Plans to Record New Album

Virginian death/thrash metal veterans metal Deceased will be heading back into the studio this year to record ‘Surreal Overdose’, their first full-length of all-new material since 2005’s ‘As The Weird Travel On’. The long-running metal maestros have kept the faith since 1985, summoning a slew of cult releases and building up an immensely dedicated fanbase that has followed the band merrily into hell and back. Now, at the dawn of 2011, King Fowley and his band of ‘bangers have returned.

King Fowley will return to the drum kit for this recording, handling both drums and vocals. The band will welcome in longtime live member Shane Fuegel on guitar (replacing long time band member Mark Adams who retired from music in 2007), while Mike Smith continues on studio guitar alongside longtime bassist Les Snyder.

The new record will be recorded at Assembly Line Studios in Virginia with Kevin Gutierrez engineering and King Fowley producing. The CD will be handled in the states by the band’s own label, Shrieks from the Hearse Records, alongside PATAC Records.
